building materials, based on bio-renewable resources.
We provide excellent performance, and we care for protecting our precious environment, so we could leave the Earth safe and habitable to our children.
WE "KNOW HOW" TO DO IT
AND WE WILL SHOW YOU HOW YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
WHAT IS FRP REBAR?
.jpg)
Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rebar technology is a novel, non-metallic, non-corrosive, pultruded, composite product, made from longitudinally bundled fibers, which are embedded in a polymer matrix.
Lola Vega FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Rebar expands upon the benefits of these curing agents and epoxies with a more affordable, stronger, and bio-renewable option to steel or standard FRP rebar (manufactured in harmful environment). This reduces atmospheric pollution, manufacturing costs, and is affordable for mass utilization.
BENEFITS OF FRP REBAR?
-
Non-corrosive and chemically resistant;
-
Tensile strength is more than 2x greater than steel;
-
Allows for a much longer life-cycle of concrete;
-
Material price competitive to carbon steel;
-
Lightweight, 4x lighter than steel (labor and transport savings);
-
Electrically & Thermally non-conductive;
-
Maintenance free (long service life).

CORROSION, THE OLD ENEMY
LET'S CHANGE "THE OLD WAY"
Corrosion of steel is one of the main problems leading to significant degradation of our infrastructure and concrete structures deterioration. Often, internal damages due to corrosion are not noticeable to the public, but can lead to structural failure, loss of life, loss of capital investment, and environmental destruction. Damages due to corrosion in the US are estimated to amount to 3.4% of the GDP annually.

FIGHT WITH D-RUSTO
before D-Rusto

after D-Rusto
Our product, D-Rusto, changes iron oxide (rust) of rebar into iron phosphate - hard, non-porous substance. Iron phosphate turns metal into dark grey or black, and creates the perfect surface for painting.
D-Rusto is a rust converter - inhibitor, and it is the best treatment for corroded metals (see the image of rebar before and after).
-
It removes rust without sanding.
-
It contains no chromium.
-
It is used for hard and rusted surfaces using priming preparation and it requires no dilution.
-
Surface can be repainted after 1 hour of application.

GORDANA SIMOVIC

DRAGAN SIMOVIC
ABOUT
Lola Vega Inc. was established as a privately owned corporation in Florida in 2012 by its founders, Dragan Simovic, Ph.D., and Gordana Simovic chemist and material scientist. Both company founders had extensive experience in organic synthetic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and material science and worked as scientists and R&D “hands-on” researchers at academic institutions, and industry, publishing multiple peer-reviewed research papers. The company was envisioned as an R&D and "know-how" transfer, focused on the chemical aspect of the adhesive, composite, and coating industry. Since its inception, the company was developing proprietary technologies for producing epoxy curing agents, composite materials, plasticizers, and lubricants utilizing bio-renewable raw materials such as soybean oil, castor oil, cashew nut shell oil, and hemp.
